I've found drinking from the boot to be a fulfilling and pleasurable drinking experience and have become up to 14% drunker 25% faster than drinking from a normal pint glass.
On a more negative note, I have found that as the night progresses I seem adopt a German twang to my accent.

I bought this for my friend and he loves it, the boot itself is bigger than it looks and it holds a lot of beer. Even though it's a novelty item it's perfectly good to drink from and I was impressed at how well made it was.
